i loved staying at mercure! the location is fantastic, just a short stroll to les halles for the food market and shops. the staff are super helpful, and the bar even stays open until 2 am, which is a nice touch. i also enjoyed the local specialties at breakfast and my cozy room, where everything was perfectly set up.

The hotel is in a great location with friendly helpful staff. The rooms are very spacious and spotlessly clean, and the breakfast has a very good range of different food available excellently prepared and set out. Overall, the hotel has a relaxed atmosphere, and Metz is a lovely city.

during my stay, I found the breakfast to be great and the staff incredibly friendly, making it a lovely base for exploring Metz's beautiful landmarks like Eglise Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption just a short stroll away and the stunning Centre Georges Pompidou less than 2 km away, which makes this hotel a fantastic choice for anyone who enjoys weekend city strolls.

The central location makes accessing the city center a breeze, and the spacious room included a safe and a fridge with complimentary water, adding a nice touch. However, the breakfast area felt cramped for the number of guests, leading to long lines at the only coffee machine, which hindered the overall experience. While everything else was well-maintained, the parking situation requires careful consideration, especially for those with mobility issues, as the nearest public parking involves a challenging walk with several stairs.

The room was clean and spacious , had a kettle and a fridge that made it easy to relax after a long day of walking. The large windows let in tons of natural light. Also , the hotel is nicely situated in the city making it easy to explore everything you want to see.
